Haseok Chung studio team is simply incredible. We loved how they capture the REALITY of weddings – from happy tears to goofy groomsmen to ethnic wedding traditions. Haseok and Jay capture photos that are truly authentic. Their work is a reflection of their personalities!

They felt more like friends than the photographers we simply hired. It was easy to tell they were not merely there to fulfill their contractual obligation.

They were aiming to shoot the perfect wedding gallery while leverage their vast experiences to guide and calm the couple during a very hectic day. Because of that, my wife and I felt such ease at our engagement photo shoot and while taking photos during our wedding.

 Haseok made all of our wedding picture dreams come true. He listened to all of our requests with the patience of a saint, followed our shot list, and went above and beyond to over deliver on the photos. The event was in Philadelphia and he traveled there with no problem, and scoped out the scenarios ahead of time, which was really impressive. It made the whole day run really smooth. There was not one complaint about Haseok and his team. I have a million favorite pictures and that's a feat, considering I'm a super picky person.

OK, so now I'm going to write what would have helped me pick him as a bride...

He brought two assistants, so our 150-person event was thoroughly covered. Not a moment missed. We booked him for 10 hours. If you are looking for someone who you can trust, who will just fade into the background and not be one of those super pushy photographers but actually observe the couple and take note of the moments they would want to remember forever, then he is your guy. He is super easy, professional, kind -- and he is really good at capturing the story. Most importantly, he's not straight-up documentary-style. He mixes traditional photos with doc-style photos. He doesn't do cheesy. His photos are classy, saturated with exciting color, and perfectly framed. The only thing I would have done differently is ask him for more full length photos of the gown. I missed that!

I got the first set of sneak peek photos nearly three weeks after the wedding and the full set about three months after. He stuck to the deadlines. I would highly recommend him.

Haseok is the BEST! We started researching vendors over a year and a half out from our date, and he was one of the very first we booked. I loved the style of his photography from my initial research, and when we did go to meet him he was just so professional, courteous, and friendly! His team is also awesome and everyone is very responsive! I also really loved that he had a lot of experience working in our venue, the Harold Pratt House, and thus knew his way around the place and where all the best shots would be. He was also super helpful during the planning process, and recommended vendors to me (many of which I ended up booking with lovely results!) and was also instrumental in creating a timeline and keeping us on schedule during the day of.

We booked our engagement shoot with him as well and of course loved how the photos came out. I really appreciated how he guided us through posing and gave specific tips as I definitely feel like I typically look awkward in photos, but he also took more natural moving shots as well, and he really listened to any requests we had.

During the actual day, we really loved how well he and his team communicated with us and both of our families, which included some older Korean adults, and they were really friendly with the little ones too :)

We got our preview pictures on his blog quite soon after the wedding and they are just gorgeous!! We also got our wedding video preview and it was also amazing!! We are so excited to get the rest of our pictures and we are definitely recommending him to all of our friends in the future. Photography is honestly one of if not THE most important aspects of your wedding day and Haseok and his team are the absolute best!
